Because grey matter does matter

Current mood: amused

Well, folks, it looks like veteran comics writer Larry Hama has done it again – this time, he takes on "conventional" "left" vs. "right" politics with a special focus on The Barack.

Web comic – samples of the comics published on paper, as linked to below:

Issue 1 – From a far away land rises a mighty hero. The son of peasants from two different realms, the one known only as Barack protects the people of Hope Kingdom at all costs. Watch as he takes on the likes of Boosh the Dim, Red Sarah and Cha-nee the Grim in this hilarious first issue! Cover A / Cover B

Issue 2 – Barack begins his assault on the Elephant Tower by entering the dreaded Labyrinth of Right Turns guarded by the Screeching Enchantress and her many-headed dogs. Meanwhile his other enemies plot and scheme and work their dire magicks.

Issue 3 – Barack escapes from the horrific Pit of Punditry and battles his way past eldritch threats and byzantine obstacles to reach the pinnacle of the Elephant Tower whilst The Old Warrior and Red Sarah nip at his heels. At the top of the tower Boosh and his evil vizier cast down spells and aspersions.

Issue 4 – In the blazing conclusion of the first arc, Barack storms the citadel of the Elephant Cult at the pinnacle of their cursed tower to free the goddess held captive there by the evil despot Boosh and his nefarious Vizier.

The Fall of Red Sarah – Red Sarah, wandering the Northern wastelands, stumbles upon the gates of a fabulous city on a hill, apparently deserted. Meanwhile, her least favorite barbarian finds another entrance to the same city. Neither suspects the secret horror guarding the city's treasures, and neither will escape unscathed – if they escape at all!

Finally, for those who are just don't get it, there's He's Barack Obama! to really drive the point home.

NOT at all the point of this article.

In fact, pictures like this one are the LAST thing that the Tea Party movement needs – I know some got pissed when the "lefties" did the Photoshop pictures of George W. to make him look like a chimp. Get over it – George XLIII left much to be desired as a chief executive, just as much as Obama currently does. More so, in some ways – particularly in the ways that Georgie set the stage for some of the things that Obama's currently engaged in – the Iraq and Afghanistan Occupations, missile strikes using unmanned drones against Pakistan and Yemen, the USA-PATRIOT Act, the bailouts. And George Worthless gave us packages of goodies, too, just like Obama – he brought back farm subsidies after Clinton phased them out, Medicare Part D, subsidies for Archer Daniels Midland to grow corn for making ethanol to be used as a fuel additive – the list is a big one.

This is NOT any sort of racial struggle here, except between the ears of the "lefty" fascists here. Pictures like these give credence to their claims that Tea Partiers are Ku Klux Krud members, minus the bedsheets with eyeholes.

This isn't a fight of "Democrat vs. Republican" – I'm quite willing to do my part in burning Monty Newman's country club political machine to the ground if that's what it takes to preserve and expand individual liberty in America. I couldn't care less about the fortunes of the GOP per se – I'm a libertarian, and have been so for 17 years. On some issues, there's a chance that will bring me into conflict with conservatives – I don't see any point in the State defining marriage, and I see attempts to outlaw abortion being just as effective as other laws – murder is illegal, therefore there are no murders, correct? I've long accepted this, and am prepared to go it alone, as other libertarians and myself have done so in the past.
Well I see that nice guy phase in your life didn't last long. I got the chance to meet him last week and he's a real Patriot. Why don't you invite him to a beer summit? Or moonshine? You might actually learn something and become Mr Nice Guy again.
Mike. Most of what you mention were the craftings of Congress, not GWB. True, we wish he'd have used the veto pen but then we don't know what negotiating goes on behind closed doors. We need a troop of giant Paul Blessings or full RGFs in Washington.
or maybe Paul GESSINGs"...Lol
There you go. I was elected as Chair of the LPNM yesterday, and thus will probably be busier than the proverbial one-legged man in the ass-kicking contest . . .
