Because grey matter does matter

Current mood: amused

Recently, I had heard about one of our intrepid legislators referring to local radio station 770 KKOB-AM as "KKKOB." Here's the article in the Albuquerque Journal and the associated video clip.

Anyway, I ran a Google search on "KKKOB" NM, and learned that this gaffe from Eric the Red is merely the latest in a string of such comments, some of which go back years.

Here's the earliest such that I found on the internet:

Talk radio could play a key public role, if . . .(Insight and Opinion)

I could call it KKKOB-AM.

I could tell you to listen to a different radio station.

I could recommend that fair-minded business owners yank their ads off its schedule.

But I won't.

I'm not a speck shy about saying this: I regularly turn my tuner to 770 on the AM dial – not because Larry Ahrens is the always-on-target observer of the political scene and not because Chris Jackson is such an uplifting fellow.

Rather, I listen because I enjoy hearing what "people on the street" are thinking. I like getting regular updates of local and national news. I need the traffic reports to help me cope with my . . .

And it's not just 770-AM that's received the "KKKOB" nickname – it was applied to KOB-TV on 29 December 2006.

Leftwinger wingnuts wonder why people ignore them. Blind people walking down the tracks can't see the train coming.

What is a liberal? What is a progressive?

To liberally progress toward the communist abyss and the stone age.

Since all Communists and their Insider bosses are waging a constant struggle for SOCIALISM, let us define that term. Socialism is usually defined as government ownership and/or control over the basic means of production and distribution of goods and services. When analyzed this means government control over everything, including you. All controls are "people" controls. If the government controls these areas it can eventually do just exactly as Marx set out to do - destroy the right to private property, eliminate the family and wipe out religion.

(Liberals are obsessed by the vulgarity of their lives & the obscenity of their behavior.)
Eric Griego is an idiot . . . he was seeking attention and got caught in the middle of a huge Fire-Storm by KKOB-770 RadioTalk Show Bob Clark and taken to task for that divisive comment and including him in on another issue which was entrely not true.  I learned a long time ago, "When you find yourelf in a deep hole . . . STOP DIGGING!!! . . . " He dug a bigger one on the air!!!  The Left, (Dems, Progressive & Liberals) for the majority of it's whinning , when they find themselves on the short or wrong end of issues they always play the RACE CARD and get burned for it!!!
